EtCal does not collect your name, email address, or location. Your calendar settings and events are stored locally on your device, and none of this data is sent anywhere unless you choose to enable cloud sync.
EtCal may request access to your Calendar (to display and create events) and Notifications (for holiday alerts and reminders). Both are optional and can be managed in your device settings.
If enabled, your EtCal events may sync across your devices via iCloud (iOS) or Google (Android). This data is managed by Apple or Google respectively under their own privacy policies.
The free version of EtCal displays ads provided by Google AdMob. These ads are not personalized — they are not based on your browsing history or interests. To help manage how often you see the same ad and to measure general ad performance, AdMob may use standard device identifiers and cookies. Read more.
If you are located in these regions, you will be asked for your consent before any ad-related data is used. You can change your choice at any time in the app's settings.
EtCal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we make changes, we will update the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
